CES Facades (Channel-mounted External Stone)

Principles

For opaque facades, with or without external insulation, Fiberstone fibre or Fiberstone hc panels are mounted in channels on 2, 3 or 4 sides, within an aluminium framework. The panels are light enough to enable extremely large panels to be used on light frames, for an exceptional seamless appearance.
For translucent facades, Fiberstone glass panels are attached using the same simple channel-mounted technique, but give incomparable decorative effects and allow soft light to filter pleasantly into the building. The marble facing may be installed on the inside, or in a sandwich between two extra-clear glass panels, protecting it from atmospheric pollution, graffiti, salty spray, etc.

Fitting

Fitting involves two phases:
- fitting the wall curtain aluminium framework including uprights and crossmembers.
- Place the Fiberstone fibre, hc or glass panels in their channels.
Fiberstone is available to give advice, draw up fitting instructions and conduct studies for special applications.
